Product Description
|
|
KTPACK synthetic multilayer heat-shrinking sausage casing is produced from polyamides and polyethylene via co-extrusion.
It delivers very high strength for dense structure, protects linked sausages during thermal treatment, and helps prevent longitudinal fractures during slicing.
Flexographic OEM printing (up to 6 colors) turns each casing into a strong branding carrier.

Processing & Usage
|
1) Soaking: Soak shirred or cut casings in cold water for ~30 minutes.
2) Stuffing: Tight fill; target 5–8% over nominal diameter; use non-slip clips.
3) Thermal: Steam/boil/smoke to target core temperature; casing shrinks tightly without rupture.
4) Cooling: Prefer controlled/shower cooling; avoid strong direct airflow immediately after heating.
5) Storage: Cool completely before refrigeration/freezing to reduce wrinkles.
6) Peelability: Optional peelable construction available on request.
