KTPACK Logo Image Printed High Barrier Heat Shrink Bag For Whole Turkey Frozen is a new-generation
high-barrier shrink packaging material produced through multi-layer co-extrusion, blowing and
stretching processes with selected raw materials. It is specially developed for whole turkeys and
other large meat and poultry products that require strong puncture resistance and long frozen
shelf life.
During packaging, the turkey is vacuum-packed inside the bag and then passed through hot-water
shrink tunnels. The bag shrinks tightly around the product, forming a smooth, attractive pack that
protects against oxygen, moisture and freezer burn. Custom logo and image printing up to 10 colours
helps brand owners highlight their products in retail freezers and cold chains, while the high-barrier
structure maintains product quality from plant to consumer.

Processing & Usage
|
1) Loading: Place whole turkey or other products into the shrink bag, removing sharp bone edges
where possible or rounding them to reduce puncture risk.
2) Vacuum sealing: Use vacuum equipment to evacuate air and heat seal the bag opening according
to recommended sealing temperature and time.
3) Shrinking: Transfer the sealed bags into a hot-water shrink tunnel or tank. Adjust water
temperature (typically up to about 90°C) and residence time to achieve full shrink and smooth,
tight appearance.
4) Cooling: After shrinking, cool the product by cold water or air to stabilize the film and
product temperature before freezing or further handling.
5) Freezing & storage: Store the packaged turkey in frozen conditions down to -40°C.
The high-barrier multi-layer film helps prevent dehydration, ice-crystal damage and oxidation.
6) Distribution: Strong puncture resistance and seal integrity support long-distance cold chain
transport and handling without bag breakage.
7) Display: Glossy printed film and tight shrink fit present a premium appearance at retail,
communicating brand image and quality to consumers.
