Product Description
These polyamide food-grade plastic sausage casings are produced from multilayer PA/PE co-extrusion, providing excellent strength, clarity and barrier performance. They are designed for cooked and processed sausages, hot dogs, luncheon meats and specialty products, with the option to print your brand, ingredients and codes directly on the casing. An integrated solution combining protection, presentation and branding for industrial sausage manufacturers and private label brands.
Material & Structure
Multilayer PA/PE construction offers:
• High tensile strength & puncture/tear resistance for high-speed stuffing.
• Stable heat resistance for steam and hot-water processing.
• Excellent gas & moisture barrier to reduce weight loss and oxidation.
• Optional internal slip layer for easier peeling where required.

Processing & Usage Guidelines
1) Soaking: soak shirred or cut casings in cold water for about 30 minutes.
2) Stuffing: stuff firmly; target 5–8% over nominal diameter; use non-slip clips and close tightly.
3) Cooking: steam or water cook to the required core temperature.
4) Cooling: use intermittent showering (2 min on / 3 min off) until 115–118°F (46–48°C), or continuous shower ~20 minutes.
5) Storage: avoid direct strong airflow right after cooking; too rapid cooling may cause wrinkles; finished products can be frozen.
6) Peeling: optional slip-layer versions available for clean and easy peeling if needed.
