Product Description
High Shrinkage Sticky Sausage Casings are 5-layer PA/PE co-extruded synthetic casings developed for demanding meat products. The adhesive inner surface and controlled shrink behavior allow the casing to cling tightly to the sausage during steam, boil or smoke, minimizing air pockets and wrinkles. The high barrier structure preserves color, juiciness and flavor, making it ideal for premium sausages, mortadella, luncheon meats and processed hams that require stable slicing and an attractive appearance.
Material & Structure
Multilayer PA/PE with optional barrier and functional layers provides tensile strength, puncture resistance and thermal stability. The sticky inner design improves meat adhesion and shaping, while food-contact compliant inks ensure durable, sharp printing after high-temperature processing.

Processing & Usage Guidelines
1) Soaking: Soak shirred or cut casings in cold water for about 30 minutes.
2) Stuffing: Stuff tightly; target 5–8% over nominal diameter; ensure clips are tight and non-slip.
3) Cooking: Steam, boil or smoke to target core temperature; shrinkage will form a tight fit.
4) Cooling: Use controlled/intermittent shower cooling; avoid sudden strong airflow to reduce wrinkles.
5) Storage: Do not expose hot product to direct fan airflow; once fully cooled, chilled or frozen storage is acceptable.
6) Peelability: Formulations can be adjusted for easy-peel or permanent adhesion as required.
