Product Description
KTPACK food grade high shrinkage polyamide sausage casings are multilayer PA/PE co-extruded, non-edible synthetic casings designed for cooked and processed meats. During thermal processing, the controlled 10–25% shrink provides a tight, uniform fit around the filling, delivering a smooth, premium presentation. Colorful custom printing turns every casing into an effective branding and information carrier while maintaining barrier performance and processing efficiency on modern high-speed lines.
Material & Structure
Multilayer PA/PE high barrier co-extrusion with optional bonding and inner layers:
• High tensile strength and puncture resistance for high-speed stuffing;
• Excellent heat stability for steam, boil and smoke cycles;
• Reliable O₂/H₂O barrier to reduce oxidation and drying.
Note: Non-edible casing; remove before consumption.

Processing & Usage Guide
1) Soaking: soak shirred or cut casings in cold water for about 30 minutes.
2) Stuffing: stuff firmly; target 5–8% over nominal diameter; use non-slip clips and close tightly.
3) Cooking: steam or water cook to the required internal temperature.
4) Cooling: recommended 2 min shower / 3 min rest intermittent cycle to approx. 46–48°C, or continuous shower for about 20 min.
5) Storage: avoid direct strong airflow right after cooking; too rapid cooling may cause wrinkles.
6) Frozen Storage: finished products can be chilled or frozen after complete cooling.
