PA/PE multilayer construction offers robustness, controlled shrinkage, and barrier protection that helps retain juiciness and flavor.
Precision shirring yields uniform sticks so every casing size is the same, improving line efficiency and reducing waste.
Flexographic OEM printing (up to 6 colors) turns each casing into a branded carrier.

Processing & Usage
|
1) Open packing: Shirred casings generally do not require soaking; load directly on the filling machine.
2) Stuffing: Tight fill; target 5–8% over nominal diameter; clip firmly with non-slip clips.
3) Cooking: Steam or water-cook to the desired core temperature.
4) Cooling: Prefer controlled shower cooling (e.g., 2 min on / 3 min off cycles) until internal temp reaches ~115–118 °F; otherwise shower continuously ~20 minutes.
5) Storage: Avoid direct strong airflow immediately after heating; allow proper cooling before refrigeration to reduce wrinkles.
6) Peelability: Optional internal slip layer for clean peeling available on request.
